Slowpoke acquired!!! Welcome to the team, Goby! As you can see, the poor bastard's first battle was an unexpected rival fight that I ran into when I tried to leave town... and his second battle was that same exact rival fight, which for story reasons I did not think would trigger moments later when I again tried to leave town. Oops. (0 ~ o)
I'm currently grinding the team up to Bugsy's level cap of 17, all in the interest of eventually replacing my geodude Crunch with a sandshrew. I love geodude as much as the next guy, but I love sandshrew an excessive amount.

I didn't get the idea for this blog until I was already partially through my SoulSilver playthrough, so allow me to catch you up!
This isn't a nuzlocke, so I took the liberty of grabbing whatever I wanted from the wild as I made my way towards Violet City. I just brought my starter Alfalfa and my geodude Crunch up to Faulkner's level cap of 13, got a clean sweep with Crunch, and walked down to Azalea Town. You can check out what else I've collected above; in the box I've got a zubat named corndog, an unnamed mareep, and a wooper named andrdingis, in reference to this gem of the internet.
I'm super excited to grab a sandshrew and a slowpoke as I continue my journey!! More coming soon ♡
